Ford Mariachi Festival at the Riverwalk

This FREE event is an official event of Fiesta San Antonio. Enjoy and experience an evening of mariachi bands and Folklorico dancers from local schools as they perform for you along the San Antonio River WalkThe tradition began in 1972 and is still going strong! Boats carrying performers stop periodically along the downtown portion of the River Walk. Each group wears the traditional Mariachi and Folklorico costumes. This year, each stage will showcase a mariachi group and a folklórico dance group performing together, with live mariachi music accompanying the dancers for a truly immersive cultural experience.
Barge Performances- Each night features three rotations with a new set of performers:
6:00–7:00 PM
7:15–8:15 PM
8:30–9:30 PM
Stage Entertainment Locations:
-Rivercenter Lagoon Stage
-New Chamber of Commerce Stage (near the large butterfly mural on the concrete slab in front of the Chamber of Commerce building on the River Walk)
This two-day event is the perfect time to sit outside, sip a cool beverage, and enjoy the music and dancing as these talented groups float by.
