Government Canyon State Natural Area - Insectigation Hike

Insects have short lives, and many of them are small creatures, but they have a HUGE impact in the ecosystem. Walk with a park ranger to a location to net and observe some of these tiny influencers. Insect capture equipment will be provided and all critters will be released unharmed after observation.
All ages welcome, but best for 6 years and up. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets, please.
This activity meets at the Picnic Pavilion, near the Visitor Center. Lot A or B will be the closest parking. Registration is NOT required, but the program is limited to the first 25 people to check in at the Pavilion.
