Government Canyon State Natural Area - Memorial Day Hike

Feel free to carry your flags and bring pictures or memorabilia to share on this veteran-led walk. This hike is open to ages 14 and older. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.
Hike distance will be approximately 7- 9 miles, covering uneven terrain with moderate elevation changes. It includes some significant elevation gain and loss over rough, rocky topography.
Park in Lot A or B, and meet at the Visitor Center, near the Rainwater Tower. Plan to arrive no later than 7:45 AM. The hike starts promptly at 8:00 AM.

Please note: Reserving a Day Pass does not guarantee a spot for you on the walk! The walk is limited to the first 15 participants to check-in with the hike leader.
