Celebrate this Mother’s Day with a serene and unforgettable experience at Honey Creek State Natural Area.
This family-friendly trek invites you and your loved ones to immerse yourselves in the breathtaking beauty of nature while reflecting on cherished moments.
Led by expert guides, you’ll explore the lush landscapes, learning about the unique flora and fauna that make this area special. The walk will be a little less than 2 miles long and moderate in difficulty--much of it is flat, but there are some rocky areas, slopes and two steep but short hills.
Following the walk, we’ll gather at the Rust House to enjoy pastries and MOM-osas (non-alcoholic) as we continue the celebration of love and remembrance.
*Registration is required!*
All are welcome; no dogs, except for service dogs
Please note that this walk is not stroller-friendly and is best suited for ages 7+. There are no restroom facilities once the walk has begun.
Meet: Outside the Rust House (located within Guadalupe River State Park)
Bring: Sturdy footwear, water, and sun protection. It is imperative to dress for the weather and be hydrated during warmer months.
