Have breakfast and visit/have your photo taken with Santa or take your own pictures, buy gifts from vendors or bid in the Silent Auction! Hosted by Friends of the Leon Valley Public Library, it's a merry way to kick off the season!
Breakfast foods, gift items, and Santa photos are sold to raise proceeds for the Leon Valley Public Library.
The library sells food discount tickets to the event, starting in November. One five ($5) dollar ticket will get you six ($6) dollars' worth of food tickets at the Breakfast. Exchange the discount library ticket(s) for the Breakfast food tickets at the event. No discount tickets will be sold the day of the event.
Food tickets at the event are like carnival tickets, where X tickets are good for Y food (or whatever).
Food items vary and range from cocoa, juice, coffee, breakfast tacos, doughnuts, fruit cups, buñuelos, etc.
There are generally a limited number of tables with crafts to sell, and the silent auction is made up of various donations available for bidding on (or purchased outright for a higher price).
There is no admission fee and visiting Santa is free; official photos with Santa usually cost a few dollars (though you are welcome to take your own photos).
