Please join us for the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America’s (CASANA) Walk for Apraxia in San Antonio! Walks for Apraxia have taken place for 11 years all over the country, but this will be the FIRST one ever in the Alamo City! Apraxia of Speech is a motor speech disorder where children have great difficulty planning and producing the muscle movements of the tongue, lips, jaw, and palate needed for speech.
The Walk for Apraxia will provide an opportunity for San Antonio area families to come together, to educate the community, and to raise awareness as well as funds to benefit CASANA programs and research. There also will be several fun activities for all ages!
Walk begins at: 10am
