We are excited to inform you about the Young Scholars enrichment program, an after-school program for Kindergarten-2nd grade. The program will meet at the Library on Tuesdays from 3:30pm-4:30pm.

Young Scholars highlights two fundamentals of childhood: reading and outdoor activity.

Each week your child will enjoy a healthy snack and read with a friend or reading buddy. Each session will end with outdoor time, if weather permits. We will watch seeds grow into plants, play outside, and even raise caterpillars into butterflies!

Community volunteers will serve as buddies during reading time.

Volunteers from the Comal Master Gardeners and Guadalupe River State Park will teach us about Texas nature and wildlife.

**If registration is full, please sign up for the waiting list. You will be contacted the week before the program begins regarding space availability.
