Abby's Attic - After School Sewing Club

Our After School Sewing Club (for ages 8-17 yrs.) is geared for beginners and confident beginners-- kids who know how to use a sewing machine, who have taken classes or camps with us in the past, or for kids new to Abby's Attic who are looking to level up their sewing skills with challenging projects! If a student enters the beginner's class and demonstrates rapid improvement, they will be invited to join advanced projects.
Skills planned for these classes are:
-detailed small work
-an emphasis on technique and results
-pattern reading
-working with challenging materials such as knits, vinyl, and faux fur
-gathering techniques
-zippers
-the opportunity to learn how to use a serger
All materials are included and each week is a different project. Projects are subject to change without notice.
