Cesar E. Chavez March for Justice, A San Antonio Tradition since 1997!
Co-Sponsored by the City of San Antonio, The Cesar Chavez March for Justice is organized by The Cesar E. Chavez Legacy & Educational Foundation. Today, the organization is led by Ernest J. Martinez,the son of CECLEF’s founder, the late Jaime P. Martinez.
Today, thousands march together in unity to pay tribute to the life and legacy of Cesar Chavez. The march attracts all parts of the community to include: youth organizations, university student groups, employer diversity groups, non-profit organizations, and labor organizations.
Schedule of Events:
-9:00 AM Morning Program at the Intersection of Guadalupe and Brazos next to the Guadalupe Theater
-10:00 AM: March steps off for Hemisfair
-11:00 AM: Song & Celebration at Hemisfair

Every year, the march will start at the intersection of Guadalupe and Brazos near the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center. There is also VIA Bus service for free to pick participants to and from the parade.
