Star-Spangled Fest is Austin’s annual Independence Day celebration, bringing the community together at Auditorium Shores and The Long Center for a full day of music, entertainment, and family-friendly fun. The festivities kick off with The Morning Spin, a high-energy experience featuring music, coffee, cocktails, and local culture. In the afternoon, guests can enjoy live performances, food trucks, interactive activities, and a tribute to veterans. The evening culminates with the Austin Symphony Orchestra’s 49th annual July 4th concert. The night ends with a spectacular fireworks show over the Austin skyline, making it one of the city’s most cherished holiday traditions.
The majority of Auditorium Shores is FREE and open to the public. Bring blankets or chairs and enjoy stage entertainment starting at 4:30 PM, as well as food trucks, activities, market vendors and watering holes.
