The objective of the Northwest Little League is to firmly implant in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.
We also offer the Challenger Division:
The Challenger Division is a separate division of Little League to enable boys and girls ages 4-18 (up to 22, if still in high school) with physical and mental challenges to enjoy the game of baseball. Teams are set up according to abilities rather than age. Challenger games can be played as tee ball games, coach pitch, player pitch, or a combination of all three. Each player gets a chance to bat and scores are usually not kept. Challenger players are assigned a "buddy" at each game to assist and encourage the Challenger player on the field.
