

The Institute of Texan Cultures is a gateway to understanding the rich tapestry of cultures that have shaped Texas. It honors and celebrates the many ways that communities from around the world influenced the Lone Star State through music, dance, food, storytelling, traditions, religion, artisan skills, and ways of life.
The museum explores Texas’ heritage, sharing knowledge through:
> Engaging exhibits, programs, and events that entertain, educate, and inspire
> Outreach programs connecting with schools and community groups
> Educational resources supporting lifelong learning
Thursday – Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Wednesday reserved for school field trips.
Admission: $10 adult, $5 youth (5-17), senior (65+) and military with ID. Free for children under 5 and UT San Antonio students, faculty and staff with ID.
