San Antonio Conservation Society Library

San Antonio library with a collection of books, clippings files, city directories on microfilm, scanned Sanborn Maps, and photographs, are accessible.

Appointments are still required in advance, by contacting librarian Beth Standifird at 210-224-6163 or bstandifird@saconservation.org.

Field Trips: Each year, school tours are offered for over 3,000 San Antonio fourth graders to historic sites that were preserved by the society, like Missions San Jose and Concepcion, the Steves Homestead, Casa Navarro, and the Spanish Governor’s Palace.

Free parking is available on the grounds.
