San Antonio Museum of Art - Playdates

The San Antonio Museum of Art is housed in a historic brewery along the banks of the Museum Reach of the Riverwalk. The Museum offers important permanent collections of Egyptian, Greek and Roman antiquities, Asian art, Latin American art, contemporary art and American paintings.

Join us for Playdates. Share, look, create! SAMA’s early childhood programs are developed for infants to pre-school age children (0–4 years old) and their caregivers. Cultivate, nurture, and inspire creativity in your young artists through stories, gallery activities, hands-on art exploration, movement, and music. Check-in begins at 10:00 a.m., and the program begins promptly at 10:15 a.m.

We welcome siblings, friends, and family of any age to learn with us! Program registration is encouraged prior to the event or on-site the day of.
