Schertz Police Department - Junior and Teen Academy Camp

Each year the Schertz Police Department hosts a Junior & Teen Academy to give young children a behind-the-scenes look at how the Police Department operates. Participants will have an opportunity to gain an understanding of police operations through specialized presentations and hands-on activities.

The academy will be held at the Schertz Police Department.

Requirements:
Commitment to attend all sessions (Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to Noon).
Be 11 - 17 years of age.
Be a resident of or zoned to a public or private school within the city of Schertz.
Turn in a completed application with a parental release and a medical release.

2025 Camp Dates
Jr. Police Academy (11-13 years of age): June 23-27, 2025
Teen Police Academy (14-17 years of age): July 14-18, 2025
