In this class, you’ll learn how to safely use a lathe and our carbide tools to turn wood handles for either the Rockler Measuring Cup Kit (4 pieces) or Measuring Spoon Kit (5 pieces).

This class is designed for beginners and serves as an excellent introduction to the wood turning realm. We’ll also cover the fundamentals of wood turning and what to look for if you plan to invest in a lathe. Come on down to the store and turn with us to make your handcrafted gift!

This class requires the use of power tools, which requires the attendee to be 14 years or older. Attendees below 18 years must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire class. If a parent or legal guardian is required to attend, only 1 ticket is required.
