Joel C. Harris Academy is an SAISD Middle School where there are opportunities for students to be a part of a special charter program to deepen the student's scientific inquiry skills. For this reason, Joel C. Harris Middle School is known as Joel C. Harris Academy, The School of Scientific Inquiry.
