Embark on an unforgettable theatrical journey with our Spring Break and Summer Camps at San Pedro Playhouse! Offering a variety of engaging programs, we invite young performers to unleash their creativity, build confidence, and make lasting memories. From exploring classic tales to crafting original productions, our camps provide a vibrant and supportive environment where young talents can shine.

March 10 – 14, 2025 | Current 2nd – 5th Graders
Spring Break Play with Yippee Coyote!
Yippee Coyote! Theater for Play is a pop-up performing arts program for kids of all ability levels. At Yippee Coyote! the focus on PLAY is essential. We encourage kids to think outside the box, as they build a sense of confidence and develop social skills through creative-based learning. Campers will play theater games and learn the basics of acting, while making DIY props, and set pieces, ending in a final performance for friends and family, based on one of the following class-chosen themes; Fairytale Adventures, Superhero Multiverse, Mythical Creatures, or Video Game Virtual World.

Spring Bard Break
This Spring Break, dive into Shakespeare! Our week-long camp invites young actors to explore the magic of the Bard through fun, creative workshops. Campers will learn acting techniques, voice work, and movement inspired by Shakespeare’s famous plays. Each day, they’ll bring scenes to life, exploring wit, drama, and comedy, with activities like stage combat and improvisation. By week’s end, students will showcase their skills in a mini-performance for family and friends, sharing monologues, scenes, and a touch of Shakespearean verse. Perfect for beginners and budding thespians alike, join us to make Shakespeare unforgettable!

Camp Info:
Camps are $350 per week.
Morning drop-off between 8:45 – 9:00am and afternoon pick-up between 3:00 – 3:15pm.
Extended Play available at $100 per week from 3:15 – 5:00pm.
