La Gran Posada at Little Flower Basilica

La Gran Posada is a traditional Basilica Mexican Christmas celebration that retells the biblical story of the Holy Family’s search for Jesus' birthplace. Presented by the Hispanic Heritage Society of San Antonio, this program includes a medley of Hispanic Christmas songs, or villancicos, Invocations to the Virgin Mary, the Litany and Cantos de las Posadas, and traditional Christmas songs from around the world.
