Government Canyon State Natural Area - Christmas Campfire Story and S'mores

  • When: Saturday, December 6, 2025,  7:00 pm -  8:30 pm
  • Location: 12861 Galm Rd., San Antonio, TX 78254
  • Cost: Park entry fee: $6 per person ages 13+

Bring a blanket and settle in for a festive story read by a ranger, then drink cocoa and make s'mores over our campfire!

Our story will be What the Dinosaurs Did the Night Before Christmas. Campfires sometimes lead to caroling, too...

All ages are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.

Where to meet:
This activity meets at the Amphitheater, near the Frontcountry Trailhead. Lot C will be the closest parking. There is a gravel path leading from the parking lot to the amphitheater. The amphitheater is near an accessible restroom.
