Winter Holiday Traditions at Government Canyon State Natural Area

Celebrate the holidays the old-fashioned way by hand-crafting items families might have made on the historic ranches that became Government Canyon.

Learn about and make evergreen wreaths, hand-dipped candles, and other traditional holiday toys and crafts at this come-and-go-event. The Discovery Trail would be great for a winter's hike before or after.

Who Is Invited:

This activity is open to all ages. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.
