What's bugging you? Let's take a hike to observe some of the little things that are really running the world.
Insects have short lives, and many of them are small creatures, but they have a HUGE impact in the ecosystem. Walk with a park ranger to a location where we can net and observe some of these tiny influencers. We will provide insect capture equipment, and all critters will be released unharmed after observation.
Who Is Invited:
All ages, but best for 6 years and up. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. No pets, please.
Where to Meet:
Meet in the Picnic Pavilion, behind the Visitor Center. Lot A will have the closest parking. Registration is NOT required, but the program is limited to the first 25 people to check in at the Pavilion.
