City of Fredericksburg - 4th of July Parade

The 2024 Fredericksburg Fourth of July Parade will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., along Main Street.

The parade will begin lining up behind the Gillespie County Courthouse at 8 a.m. The parade proceeds east on Main Street to the intersection of Main and Washington Street. It will U-turn there and go west to Bowie Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or park a vehicle along the route to enjoy the parade.
