The annual Boerne Independence Day fireworks show is set to begin at 9:15 p.m. Thursday, July 4, and is scheduled to last 20-25 minutes.
The show is free and open to the public with prime viewing available at the Kendall County Fairgrounds and Champion High School.
There will be a food truck vendor at City Park, but spectators can bring their own snacks and beverages. Just remember, glass is not allowed. The show is best enjoyed on a lawn chair or blanket, but we ask families not to bring tents so as to avoid blocking the show from the people around them. Lastly, though pets are not prohibited, it is best to leave them at home where they will be more comfortable and in a less noisy environment.
