Día de los Muertos at The Historic Pearl

Pearl invites you to a community celebration of Día de los Muertos. Honor the lives of loved ones who have passed with ofrendas (altars), live music, art installations, children's activities, and more.
ACTIVITIES:
Get ready for a fun-filled evening with plenty of activities for kids to enjoy! From crafting skeleton shadow puppets to playing Loteria games, painting guitars, and getting their faces painted, there's something for everyone to have a great time.

PERFORMANCES:
Get ready for an exciting evening at Pearl! Los Olvidados & Las Monas will bring their drumming and puppetry skills to the streets, while the sounds of Strawberry Jams Vinyl and Los Nahuatlatos will keep you grooving all night long.

CATRIN & CATRINA CONTEST:
We warmly invite you to participate in our new Catrin and Catrina Contest by dressing up in your finest Catrin and Catrina attire. The contest will take place at 7:30 PM in Pearl Park, located under the Pearl sign with special guest judge Michael Quintanilla. Come join us for a day of celebration, community spirit, and friendly competition!
ALTARS AND ART:
Monday, October 30 - Monday, November 6
Pearl will showcase altars created by local artists and institutions to honor various figures. You are invited to honor a loved one by leaving a photo or letter at our main community altar.
