Alamo Bowl Fan Zone at the Espee

The Fan Zone is the official gathering place before the game. More than 8,000 fans, alumni groups, and university bands will come together to celebrate before the big game.
Located one block north of the Alamodome, this event is free to the public and will feature food and drink booths, and games as well as music from the team bands, the H-E-B Porch and the Ricos Nacho Eating and Bud Light Beer Stein Holding contests on the Bud Light Stage.
New to the Fan Zone is Ace Academy presented by USAA
Ace Academy is a virtual reality flight simulator that puts you in the seat of a F/A-18 Hornet combat aircraft. Lines will form, so be sure to arrive early to test your skills as a fighter pilot! This experience and the entire Fan Zone is opens to the public from noon to 7:45 p.m. on December 28 before kickoff.
