Join SA Parks & Rec. for their monthly Starting Out Wild children's nature program at Medina River Natural Area, designed for children aged 18 mo.-3 yrs. old!
Starting Out Wild fosters a toddler’s love of nature, featuring nature discovery, movement, crafts, stories, singing, and a nature walk. It’s a fun-filled morning in the park for little ones and their parents or their caregivers.
September: Coyotes
This month, in honor of Hispanic Heritage, come learn about Coyotes, a Texas native species. Enjoy a retelling of the Northern Mexican and Navajo tale of how Coyotes are the reason we have the Milky Way. Following storytime, children will participate in a sing-along, craft, and guided hike.
