Join SA Parks & Rec. for their monthly Growing Up Wild children's nature program at Medina River Natural Area, designed for children aged 4-7 yrs. old!
Growing Up Wild provides an early foundation for environmental literacy, building on a child’s sense of wonder about the natural world and inviting them to explore both the wildlife and the world around them.
September: Coyotes
This month, in honor of Hispanic Heritage, come learn about Coyotes, a Texas native species. Enjoy a retelling of the Northern Mexican and Navajo tale of how Coyotes are the reason we have the Milky Way. Following storytime, children will participate in a sing-along, craft, and guided hike.
