BiblioTech Public Library is proud to host guest presenter Lisa Santos, president of the 1718 San Antonio Founding Families Descendants, for an engaging and informative presentation exploring the early history of the region we now call Bexar County during the Spanish colonization of Texas.

Discover the stories of the early settlers, their daily lives, and the lasting impact they had on the development of the San Antonio area and Texas history. Participants will also have the unique opportunity to view a full replica of a Spanish soldier’s uniform and learn about the role of Bexar County during the era of the American Revolution. History enthusiasts and curious learners alike will not want to miss this special opportunity to connect with our region’s rich past.
