There’s something special about South San Antonio! Join Building a Purpose as they prepare for their Annual Old South San Parade & Block Party!
The Old South San Parade is more than a parade. It’s a celebration of where we come from and where we’re going. By bringing together students, alumni, local businesses, and families, this event creates a space where community pride meets opportunity. From vibrant floats and marching bands to community leaders, this parade showcases the true heart of South San.
Parade Route:
• Begins at St. Joseph’s Parking Lot (535 New Laredo Hwy.)
• Ends at Dwight Middle School Parking Lot (2454 W. Southcross Blvd.)
• Bring your own chairs and get ready to celebrate!
Event Schedule:
• 3:00 PM – Parade Begins
• 4:00 PM – Parade Ends / Block Party Begins
• 4:30 PM – Scholarship Awards
• 5:00 PM – Building A Purpose Announcements
• 6:30 PM – Raffle Begins
