Stride For Sight “Saving Sight, Changing Lives” is a family and pet-friendly 5K run/walk hosted by two partnering community organizations. Our mission in hosting the run/walk is to educate and inspire the community about the Gift of Sight, healthy vision, and to build awareness for the resources that our partners offer.
This event has it all! Music and entertainment, t-shirts and age group awards for the 5K, breakfast tacos and fruit, team awards and recognition, Guide dogs AND lazy dogs are welcome! Donor memorial quilts will be displayed.
Schedule of Events:
8:00 AM Registration/packet pick up opens
9:00 AM Opening ceremony
9:15 AM Zumba Dance Warm-Up
9:30 AM Remembrance Tribute/Memorial Release
9:40 AM FREE Kids’ Fun Run for ages 10 and under (Kids do not need to register online for the fun run.)
10:00 AM Run/Walk Start
11:00 AM Awards and Recognition
