What began in 2016 as a Schertz Library Foundation fundraiser has grown into a beloved annual tradition. In its early years, the event helped the Foundation raise funds for projects beyond the library's regular budget. Supporting the children's collection, expanding the eBook and eAudiobook collection, and replacing all catalog computers with iPads have been a few of the completed projects. After the pandemic, Mini Golf at the Library returned with a renewed purpose: to offer a free, joy-filled event to celebrate the conclusion of the annual summer reading program.
