Siesta Half Marathon and Fun Run at Mission County Park

If Fiesta season has you feeling a little overwhelmed, this is your chance to slow things down — just enough. The Siesta Half Marathon delivers a smooth, scenic run along the San Antonio River Walk (South), offering a calmer, more focused racing experience without losing the fun.
The race starts at Mission County Park, with the entire course running along the river. This out-and-back route is flat, fast, and beautifully shaded in places; it’s the perfect setting for a strong finish to the Texas Hill Country Series. And once you cross the finish line, the celebration begins with a Fiesta-themed Scallywompus after-party.
We will also have a Fiesta Costume CONTEST! Bring out your Festive Outfit that celebrates San Antonio’s Largest Party. Dress as your favorite pan de dulce, a piñata, or a mariachi. We encourage everyone to dress up and have fun!
