Alamo City Arts and The Heart of Texas present one of our most popular programs: Composers, soloists, and conductors bring their favorites to the stage for your enjoyment!
-Guest Conductor Drew Eary (US Air Force Band of the West) conducting “Festal Scenes" by Yasuhide Ito.
-Guest Soloist A1C Mark Allen, Clarinet, performing Michael Markowski’s “Unfamiliar Territory” (also conducted by Eary).
-Marty Hill conducting his own setting of “Skye Boat Song”.
-George Carpenter directing "Jesus Christ, Superstar"- Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Arranged by Henry Mancini.
-Michael Casa conducting R. Vaughan Williams’ “English Folk Song Suite”.
-Jose Segovia conducting “Viva el Rumba” a pasodoble by C. Zabala
-and the fun encore “Deep in the Heart of Texas"!
