DreamWeek San Antonio (DWSA) is an annual, multi-day summit dedicated to celebrating humanity by creating environments for civil and civic engagement. Its core purpose is to foster the exchange of ideas for the common good, ultimately revealing the inherent “community genius” within San Antonio.
Held each January, coinciding with the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy, DreamWeek provides a broad platform for dialogue on universal issues affecting humanity. Through a diverse array of community-curated events—ranging from symposiums, panel discussions, and debates to film screenings, concerts, and art exhibits—DWSA aims to:
-Bridge divides and create a sense of belonging for all.
-Empower individuals with the understanding and education needed for peaceful coexistence.
-Create networking opportunities for organizations working to better the human condition.
-Amplify the voices of the community to inspire discussion and ignite change.
