Great American Lacrosse is San Antonio's family-run home for youth lacrosse. We run the Summer Showdown Camp — San Antonio's longest-running lacrosse camp — the SA Armadillos club teams for boys and girls, fall speed and skills clinics, a winter rec league, and private 1-on-1 and small-group training at Olmos Basin Soccer Fields.
Founder Paul Taylor played NCAA Division III lacrosse and has coached 15+ years, from 1st grade through varsity, and we have two High School All-Americans on staff. For more than 15 years our leadership and coaches have helped San Antonio athletes grow from first-time youth players to top-tier college programs.

NEW TO LACROSSE? START HERE
Every program welcomes all skill levels, including kids who have never held a stick. Playing lacrosse does require a full set of gear — stick, helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, mouthguard and cleats — so the easiest way to try the sport before buying anything is our free club tryouts or our free February charity clinic. Sticks are provided at both. Need gear? Reach out and we'll help make it work.
