OR
Fridays 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Our Science & Social Skills combo course includes both science enrichment activities as well as social skills instruction. Students explore a wide range of STEM topics, perform hands-on experiments, take field trips, and complete "Techie Projects". The curriculum is thoughtfully curated to enhance children's understanding of science and build critical thinking skills. Students also build friendships while practicing social skills through the Little SPOT curriculum. The social skills lessons teach children coping skills, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution, all while providing an inclusive space to make new friends. This course is modified for the younger and older learners. Younger learners (ages 4-7) explore the fundamentals of science, while older learners (ages 8-12) expand on their understanding of concepts, look in depth at scientific topics, and explore careers in STEM.
