Clarity Child Guidance Center

Clarity Child Guidance Center is the only nonprofit mental health treatment center for kids ages 3 to 17 in South Texas. We provide a full continuum of care on our 8-acre campus in the South Texas Medical Center. When a child is in crisis, we work with families to get much needed treatment, regardless of their ability to pay.

- Offers 74-bed inpatient mental health hospital; 24/7 walk-in Crisis Services department for children experiencing a mental health emergency; intensive daily treatment through partial hospitalization program; outpatient therapy; psychological assessments; care coordination; and recreational therapy.

- Region's largest concentration of child and adolescent psychiatrists through onsite affiliations with Southwest Psychiatric Physicians and UT Health San Antonio.

- Accepts commercial health insurance plans, TRICARE, Medicaid and CHIP. Sliding scale and charitable care options also offered.
