Berta Almaguer Dance Studio & Community Center is located within Woodlawn Lake Park.
The center provides opportunities for new multi-generational community and fitness programming. Its dance studios are suitable for rehearsals, auditions and studio dance performances.
The center serves as the heart of Parks and Recreation’s award-winning, legacy dance program. It is named for Berta Almaguer, who founded the dance program in 1934. The program is the oldest of its kind in the United States.
