Located in San Marcos at the airport, this WWII aviation history museum is located in an authentic hangar used for navigation training in WWII. We have 7 flying WWII aircraft, ranging from training to fighters, cargo to bombers, that you can touch and walk around! The aircraft include the lead aircraft from DDay, a C47 named "That's All, Brother", a B25 "Yellow Rose", a very rare P-39Q Bell Air Cobra, and T-6 Texan "Red Tail", a C45 Expeditor "Lone Star Lady" and more!
In addition, we have 5 rooms dedicated to more traditional museum exhibits, including the Doolittle Raid, WASPs, Tuskegee Airmen, Germany, the San Marcos Army Navigation School, Pearl Harbor, and more. Numerous other displays are on the hangar floor.
