Austin - Steam Train Association

For families with kids that like trains, the Austin Steam Train offers the opportunity in Austin for kids to ride a real vintage passenger train. The train depot is located in Cedar Park twenty miles north of downtown Austin.

The trains operate most Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. There are some weekday train trips during the summer months. Most of the train trips last about three hours.
