The Farmyard

The Farmyard is the Homestead of an old ranch first settled in the 1800’s. The house and old barns were built 75-100+ years ago. We purchased the farm in 1990 and moved our family and livestock in.

We put in new fencing and added the old red barn and pavilions in the early 1990’s to house our animals and provide a place for parties, field trips, etc. The old hay barn in the pony pasture is over 100 years old now. We also offered guided trail rides down to and along the Cibolo Creek with our horses and ponies for many years.

In 1994, we started our mobile petting zoo. We have been delivering to schools, churches, and community events for over 30 years now. Please see our Events page for our mobile petting zoo and email us if you would like us to come to your church, school, or community event!
