View the Solar Eclipse at the Witte Museum!
The Eclipse will begin around 12:14 p.m. at the Witte with the maximum happening around 1:34 p.m. During this time, Witte visitors will receive complimentary certified eclipse viewing glasses with general admission (while supplies last).
Announcements will be made, and all guests will be invited to go outside and experience the eclipse* from museum grounds.
Prepare for an Eclipse
During a Solar Eclipse, remember to wear eclipse glasses and to never look at the sun with the naked eye.
Want a pair early? Certified eclipse glasses are available for $4.95 each at the Bolner Family Museum Store at the Witte Museum. While there, shop our full collection of exclusive 2024 Total Eclipse t-shirts and stickers to memorialize your eclipse experience.

*The Witte Museum will be 0.04% away from totality and will be at 99.96% obscuration (concealment) during the eclipse maximum.
