SUMMARY:Government Canyon State Natural Area - Winter Bird Hike
LOCATION:12861 Galm Rd., San Antonio, TX 78254
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Search for vesper sparrows, loggerhead shrikes, spotted towhees, and other 
 winter residents in the varied habitats along Lytle's Loop. Hike 2-3 miles 
 in the Frontcountry with a GCSNA Ranger. Birders of all skill levels are we
 lcome. They will have loaner binoculars if you need to borrow a pair. <br /
 ><br />This hike is limited to the first 12 people to check in with the ran
 ger. Ages 10 and up. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal gu
 ardian. No pets please.<br /><br />Meet at the Frontcountry Trailhead in pa
 rking lot C, near the Amphitheater. The hike will leave promptly at 8:00 AM
 , so please plan to arrive early.
X-EXTRAINFO:Registration is NOT required for this hike. The hike is free but entrance f
