DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Join Government Canyon Park Rangers on a trip back in time with a short but
  beautiful hike to the historic Kallison Ranch complex. Not normally open t
 o the public, you will be treated to scenic views while learning about one 
 of Government Canyon’s founding families.\n\nThe hike is approximately 2.5 
 miles round trip over sections of moderately rough terrain. Rangers will di
 scuss how Texas was settled in the late 1800s and learn about the highly in
 fluential Kallison family and their legacy.\n\nOpen to ages 10 and above; p
 articipants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardi
 an; no pets please.\n\nMeet at the Rock Garden beside the Visitor Center. P
 lease be in place and ready to go no later than 1:45 PM.

 30 people to check in with the hike leaders. Though the hike is free, all N
