DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Enjoy an All-American small-town celebration in Fredericksburg each Fourth 
 of July. \n\n8:30 AM Children and patriotism will come together for the 40t
 h annual July 4 children's parade, sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign War
 s Post 7105.  All children age 12 and under can participate in the parade i
 n an annual display of patriotism.  Children are allowed to bring small pet
 s and decorated bicycles, tricycles, wagons or scooters. Participants may e
 nter various categories to be judged and win prizes including "Uncle Sam", 
 "Miss Liberty", "Best Bike Boy", "Best Bike Girl", "Best Dressed Pet", "Bes
 t Group" and more. No sign-up is required for those wanting to participate.
  The VFW Post sponsors this event to encourage patriotism at a young age an
 d to permit the expression of American ideals. The parade is totally suppor
 ted by the VFW Post with member volunteers and VFW Post funds.\n\n10:00 AM 
 Enjoy the Fredericksburg Fourth of July Parade down Main Street featuring n
 early 100 floats decked out in their patriotic best, followed by a weekend 
 of Patriotic fun. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or park a v
 ehicle along the route to enjoy the parade.  \n\n9:30 PM The City of Freder
 icksburg hosts this fireworks show at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park to c
 elebrate our country’s independence. Multiple viewing areas are available i
 nside the park and at the Gillespie County Fairgrounds. Guests are encourag
 ed to bring their own lawn chairs for seating, eats and drinks.
