 video contest in which young filmmakers create short movies that tell the e
 ntire stories of Newbery award-winning books in just a few minutes. Creativ
 e takes are encouraged: think "Charlotte's Web" as a horror movie, or "The 
 Tale of Desperaux" as a musical!\n\nFor fifteen years we've screened the be
 st kid-made movies annually in New York City, Chicago, Boston, and many oth
 er cities . . . including right here in San Antonio!\n\nNow, at City Base C
 inemas, we'll be showing the BEST kid-made movies we've received over the p
 ast 15 years . . . including many made right here in San Antonio! The scree
 ning will be hosted by film festival founder James Kennedy (author of "The 
 Order of Odd-Fish" and other books).\n\nTickets are free! However, we recom
 mend making a reservation to ensure admittance to the screening, which is l
 imited to 210 seats.
