 eduled a series of activities to celebrate!<br /><br />What does a natural 
 space like Government Canyon mean to you? Connect to the Canyon with mindfu
 l observations recorded in a free GCSNA journal (limited copies available).
  <br /><br />During this special anniversary edition of their Nature Journa
 ling activity, you will explore some techniques for improving memory, expre
 ssing creativity, building scientific skills, and increasing your connectio
 n to nature. They will help you get started with quality colored pencils, a
  variety of journaling prompts, and a non-judgmental, sharing atmosphere. <
 br /><br />This activity is open to all ages and includes both a seated act
 ivity and a (very) short hike. Minors must be accompanied by their parent o
 r legal guardian. No pets please.<br /><br />Where to Meet: Park in Lot A o
 r B and meet at the Gallery at the Visitor Center.<br /><br />Registration 
 is NOT required, but the program is limited to the first 20 people to check
  in at the Gallery.<br /><br />Colored pencils and journals provided, but y
 ou will need to bring a blanket or portable chair to sit on while journalin
 g. You are also welcome to bring your own art supplies if you’d like.

 urdays can be very busy, and there is often a long line at the Fee Booth. \
 n\nThough the event is free, entrance fees to the Natural Area do apply. Th
 e park often fills to capacity. To ensure entrance and save time at the Fee
