 nimals survive in a challenging environment? Stop by to learn more at a tou
 ch table and craft station. All are welcome, but this activity is timed to 
 coincide with Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend.<br /><br />Learn about 
 the amazing ways in which Government Canyon wildlife is adapted to hide fro
 m danger, find food, and handle extreme temperatures at a wildlife touch ta
 ble with skulls, feathers, pelts, and more. Then use craft supplies to crea
 te a critter of your own design. This is a come-and-go activity open to all
  during the event times. <br /><br />We will have trail maps with suggested
  routes available for troops or families who would like a short hike, as we
 ll as a photo scavenger hunt you can use on the trail. <br /><br />All ages
  welcome, but this activity is best for ages 6-14. Minors must be accompani
 ed by their parent or legal guardian. No pets please.<br /> <br />This acti
 vity meets in the Picnic Pavilion, near the Visitor Center. Lot A or B will
  be the closest parking.
X-EXTRAINFO:Registration is NOT required for this activity. Plan to arrive early as Sat
 urdays can be very busy, and there is often a long line at the Fee Booth. \
 n\nThough the event is free, entrance fees to the Natural Area do apply. We
  often fill to capacity. To ensure entrance and save time at the Fee Booth,
  please pre-purchase and print out a day pass.\n\nThis program is weather-d
