DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Join in each summer in early June for the Boerne Family Fishing Tournament 
 hosted by Boerne Parks and Recreation. Sign up and come out to Boerne City 
 Lake Park for a day full of fishing fun for the whole family.\n\nParks and 
 Recreations Boerne is excited to provide this free opportunity to introduce
  the sport of fishing to children, as well as to create a safe environment 
 for parents and children to enjoy the outdoors together.\n\nThe tournament 
 is held each year on the first Saturday in June, which is also Free Fishing
  Day in Texas when adults don't need a license to put a hook in the water. 
 That means adults fishing in this tournament are not required to carry a fi
 shing license.\n\nThe day kicks off with a morning check in followed by a p
 re-fishing meeting for all the participants. Fishing gets started shortly a
 fter that with the final weigh-in coming before noon. That's when it is det
 ermined who has the biggest catches of the day and trophies and raffle priz
 es are handed out!
